If you want to have a traditional wedding or lots of guests at a venue, that doesn’t mean you have to forfeit your epic mountain top wedding photos! This couple was having their actual wedding in China, but wanting photos on a mountain as well. So they chose to do sunrise hiking pre-wedding photos in Kananaskis! We actually ended up rescheduling this session due to miserable weather, but the morning that we did do the hike was insanely beautiful!

We started the hike in the wee hours of the morning and made it up before the sun started to come up. This ridge is one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen, and I love doing elopement photos up here! If you’re wanting to elope in the Kananaskis area, this is a good option.

This bride had the most gorgeous veil! It was so unique, and was perfect for a mountain top because it was so flowy and frilly! Remember you don’t need to fit into a mold. You can do whatever you want for your elopement, and have any accessories you wish. Veils are great because when it’s a bit breezy, they make for very dramatic photos.
