The Viewpoint at Emerald Lake is a popular spot for intimate elopement ceremonies.  It looks out over the Emerald Lake and the mountains as a beautiful backdrop.   The viewpoint is available for use for 2 hours, and is included in the Elopement Packages that Emerald Lake Lodge offers. 

After your ceremony, there are plenty of options for family and wedding portraits around Emerald Lake.  There is a walking/hiking trail that goes around the entire perimeter of the lake.  You don't have to walk around the entire lake, but there are several great spots along the trail that have fantastic views of the lake and the lodge.  Plus, the lake itself is the most gorgeous deep blue colour.  

Another activity you could do for photos, is rent a canoe and get photos in the canoe on the lake.  The cost for the canoe rental is $100/hour.  

Last of all, the stunning natural bridge near Emerald Lake Lodge is a great option for formal photos.  It is a rock bridge that you can walk onto, with a raging waterfall beneath.  There are many other spots around the river and waterfall as well, that you can walk to for photos.

Guests would be able to stay at the Lodge as well, or there are other options in Lake Louise, Banff, Field, or Golden. 

A Note on cost

There are various accommodation options available in the elopement package that Emerald Lake Lodge offers.  The price varies depending on which room/cabin you choose.  These prices include:

•  2 night’s accommodation for you and your partner.
• Two breakfasts – buffet breakfast served in the Mt Burgess Dining Room
• A 3-course dinner for 2 people (x1 Night) – this is at the Mt Burgess Dining Room.
• Flowers – this includes a bouquet and boutonniere.
• Cake – this is a single-tiered cake.
• Bottle of sparkling wine – we can either have this delivered to your room for just the two of you, or we can use it when you come to dinner.
• Ceremony Location – this would be outside at the Viewpoint
• There are also a few extra treats in the room for you, as well as a “congratulations” gift from us.

The Lodge King ranges from $1476 to $2000
The Lakeview King ranges from $1600 to $2200
The Emerald Suite ranges from $1640 to $2200
The Point Cabin ranges from $2800 to $3400
