Since winter is a slower season for shooting, I wanted to get out and get creative. I posted to my instagram story looking for a couple of couples who would be down to go out and shoot in the mountains for fun. Turns out, it wasn’t hard to find a few haha. Matt and Olivia met me for their couple’s session at Bow Falls in Banff, just after sunrise. There was no one around besides us, and the light and haze was beautiful as we explored around the area.

Bow Falls is just beneath the Banff Springs Hotel, and is a popular location for tourists. The falls are low and wide, but really beautiful. There are neat cliffs, beaches, and rocky shores in the area. We even saw some Canada geese. It felt like we were on the west coast, when in fact, we were in the middle of the rockies, which is even better 😉
